"Verbal Abuse is Still Abuse"
------------- a personal project against child verbal abuse
This is a project I created by myself during October 2020. The reason I am doing this project is that I experienced verbal abuse when I was a child, and it had huge impact on me, and I know there are lots of people like me out there, no matter the abuse is from their parents, teachers, or classmates. I want people to realize the impact and harm verbal abuse can do to kids and teenagers. So I created these short videos.
Although the project will not have a huge public effect, but that's just a very first step for me. I will create more videos in the future to share my own experience about the verbal abuse and let people realize verbal abuse towards children is also a serious problem.

"Fish Tank"
This video is based on "fish only has 15 seconds memory". In our life, parents always think kids will not care what parents said to them and forget about it. But the truth is every kids will remember those hurting words their parents said and will have a huge impact about their life.
"No Excuse For Abuse"
These two "No Excuse For Abuse" videos is inspired on the videos I saw on YouTube against emotional abuse. The idea of mute the characters' voice when they are explaining the reason why they abused other or being abused conveyed a really strong and simple message to the audience. Which is there is no reason to abuse someone, it is totally wrong. The video is simple, but the message is strong, so I used the idea, changed the story and created these two videos.
