This is FROST

I am Shengsen Ni and usually go by "Frost". I graduated from Pennsylvania State University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Although the majority of my courses are focused on advertising industries, I still took two professional photography and three film major course to learn to operate professional photography equipment and postproduction software. I also equipped with relative experienced in film production traverse critique and history from film courses I took.

During my sophomore year’s summer break, I interned at the Ningbo Miracle Brand Planning Inc., and participated in several large projects. In that case, I learned to hone my advertising and promotion related skills. My two years’ experience as a media department leader in ACEs Dance Crew also helped me to train my ability in professional media content creation

My love for creative arts is a multifaceted thing.  A great piece of artwork always had its own charm, they are alive. Sometimes they are more powerful and vivid than speaking language and that are the reasons I fell in love with photography and video editing. And I believe NYU’s IMA LowRes Program can provide me more opportunities and resources to create more contents to express my ideas and thoughts, to share and tell stories, and to motivate people. Therefore, I hope to delve deeper into interactive media Arts and win your favorable consideration for me to undertake your program.​
